= ntpd: step mode / slew mode =
ntpdには一気に時刻を変えるstep modeと、1秒あたり最大0.5ms程度しか変更せずに連続的に時間を調整するslew modeがあることを学んだ。

昨日、coreの時刻がntpdによって再設定されてdovecotが自殺するという残念な自体が発生したので、coreのntpdをslew modeに変更した。
